Marty Edwards's biography
Marty has been a GCSE and A-level Computer Science teacher for over 13 years and prior to that he worked in the IT industry as a software engineer. In addition to teaching, Marty is the director of his own company supporting schools in delivering interesting and innovative computing sessions through bespoke workshops and staff training. He is also involved in STEM activities in the region and is opening a new STEM centre in the west end of Newcastle in the next academic year. He particularly specialises in Raspberry Pis and the facilities they provide in advancing computing knowledge.
