Sarah Zaman's biography

Sarah Zaman is a Primary School teacher of over twenty years who has always taken on the role of leading Computing /ICT in each of the schools she has taught in. She has been involved with CAS for a number of years now, as a former Master Teacher and hub leader, CAS Regional Coordinator at The University of Manchester, as part of the DFE funded NOE, board member and has just recently joined the newly established team of CAS Community Outreach Managers, in which she is working hard to increase CAS activity in the Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle areas. She is a keen advocate of the use of Physical Computing devices such as the Crumble, the Microbit and the Raspberry Pi in the KS2 and KS3 classroom, running numerous sessions for teachers and children in both schools and at community events.
