Cyber Prevent officers from the North East Regional Special Operations Unit (NERSOU) are part of a national network of police officers tasked by the National Crime Agency (NCA) to identify young people on the cusp of cyber-crime, intervene where necessary and inspire them to develop their skills in more legal, ethical and moral ways. Their aim is to prevent cyber offending and show young people the positive pathways of a potential future in the cyber industry.
