This is a practical session on the use of the BBC micro:bit with Python. You will have access to resources for programming the micro:bit with Python and gain access of using the offline Mu editor.

Simon Roberts's biography

Simon is the Curriculum Leader for Computing at Carmel College in Darlington, currently teaching a range of pupils from year 7 to 13 including Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level and vocational courses. He has been teaching since 1996 and has thoroughly enjoyed the changeover from the old ICT curriculum to what is now Computing, gaining his BCS Certificate in Computer Science Teaching and becoming a CAS Master teacher on the way.
