Cross-curricular computing in primary

Kelly Smith, Our Lady of Lourdes RCVA Primary


Looking at the KS1 and KS2 programmes of study, this session will consider ways in which a cross-curricular approach can be used. The session will provide some activities and resources to support learning in English, Science, History and Geography.

Kelly Smith's biography

Kelly has an MSc in Spatial Information Technology from Durham University and spent eight years as a Computer Programmer and Geographic Information Systems Development Officer prior to becoming a teacher. She has worked as a primary school teacher for over ten years and has spent most of this time in KS2. Currently IT Coordinator in her school, Kelly also runs an after school Code Club.
