Description
The session will take a practical look at the use of Ozobots (a fun programmable device) and the progression of programming physical devices through KS1 to KS3. Activities will include programming using coloured blocks and lines to creating programs to navigate puzzles using a block based programming language. The session will also look at how students can be introduced to text based programming languages.

Jordan Graham's biography
Jordan is now a ICT/ Computing and E-Learning Consultant for Northumberland County Council and before that he was the head of computing at Meadowdale Academy (a middle school in Bedlington). He studied BCs Honours Informatics and has a background in programming in a range of programming languages. He enjoys teaching programming with use of devices such as 'Lego WeDo' and 'sphero'. Jordan is a CAS Master Teacher, a CEOP Ambassador and a Raspberry Pi educator.
