Using Lego WeDo in the computing curriculum

LEGO Education develop educational solutions to support teachers in delivering lessons that are engaging, challenging and fun for everyone. This is accompanied with an outstanding pedagogy that has its roots in the most current research about learning theories. This session will focus on the role robotics can play in helping teachers deliver the new computing curriculum by introducing LEGO WeDo and LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3.

David Gregory's biography

David Gregory is responsible for school engagement and consultation for LEGO Education in the Midlands and North of the UK. David believes students only get one shot at education, so it has to be the best possible experience. With strong educational experience, David is a part time teacher and carries out workshops and events across the UK. His knowledge of the UK curriculum and education system is current. He is therefore able to assist teachers who are looking for solutions in delivering the STEM curriculum from KS1-5. David is also a LEGO Education Certified Academy Trainer.
