Using the Raspberry Pi creatively at KS2

This is a hands on session covering the creative use of the Raspberry Pi in primary school. This will include the use of sensors and other devices, examples of Egglescliffe primary competition entries as well as the use of the Pi with Minecraft and Sonic Pi.

Dan Mount's biography

I am Computing Subject Leader at Egglescliffe Primary School, where I have worked for 3 years. Prior to this I worked at Norton Primary as ICT and Digital Creativity Leader for 5 years. I have been involved in Royal Television Society animation projects, as well as working as a spokesperson for Skype in the Classroom, completing projects with educators around the world. My class has won PA Consultancy's national Raspberry Pi programming award in the past. I am a CAS Master Teacher and have Raspberry Pi Certified Educator status.
